When we wait expectantly for our blessings we are activating the spiritual vision board process through prayer and faith. It is because we wait patiently and expectantly (Psalms 40:1; 42:5 & 11; 43:5; 103:5) that God opens doors.
The practice of visualization further extends our levels of faith and expectation. It signifies to God that, not only are we waiting patiently and expectantly, but we can imagine how our lives will change once we receive the desires of our hearts.
Visualization is just one of the great tools used in the spiritual vision board process. If you haven’t picked up your copy of the #1 bestselling book Visual Prayer: How to Create a Spiritual Vision Board, you can look forward to an upcoming digital sale soon.
With so much going on around us, and knowing that this virus has impacted life in so many ways. We have to remind ourselves that we can still find moments of joy and happiness. Most importantly. God desires for us to enjoy life and live it to the fullest, so we have to keep that in mind, and do our best to stay encouraged and to encourage those around us. Spread love, hope, and compassion today to everyone that you can.
Visualization expands our level of Faith and Expectation! It provides us with a renewed sense of hope and uncompromised optimism because we can see (in our mind’s eye) what God is intending to bless us with when we partner with Him. Don’t be discouraged. Don’t give up hope. Just practice visualizing to manifest and receive what God has for you!
Sometimes it’s challenging to determine exactly what we should focus on when it comes to our career aspirations. One aspect that might help to shed some light on areas that connect to our purpose in life, would be to identify what our spiritual gifts are. Take this Spiritual Gifts Assessment to help point you in the right direction.
When I first read Deepak Chopra’s The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, the mix of emotions was overwhelming, and I wanted to do everything that he talked about right away. However, one law that became seamlessly easy to incorporate into my daily life was the law of giving.
As Chopra describes it, the law of giving is a universal exchange of dynamic energy, “Our willingness to give that which we seek (provides us with an opportunity to) keep the abundance of the universe circulating in our lives” (p. 25). In other words, in order to receive, we must be cognizant of giving. And when we give specifically what we desire, we are more likely to receive it.
The dynamic exchange of circulation that Chopra addresses tell us that we should remain open to keep the circulation process of giving and receiving constantly flowing. Once we cut it off by not giving, this in turn limits or stifles our ability to receive.
In Luke 6:38, we learn that if we “give, it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.” As I mentioned, this law is probably the easiest one to incorporate because when we are around others we are given several opportunities daily to meet each others’ needs. And these needs often do not cost us anything. Our gift to someone else could be in the form of a compliment, well wishes or even a prayer.
My questions to you are, how much do you want to manifest the desire of your heart? And what are you willing to do to change your current situation? My suggestion is to GIVE, that what you are asking God to bless you with. Sometimes it takes a little bit of creativity – but if you really desire to manifest and receive it, then do what you can to GIVE it to someone else.
In Romans 4:17, we are told to speak those things that are not as though they were. Notice the past tense used in this scripture. Our Kingdom operates on the premise that what you desire you already have, so we have to speak it or call it into existence using positive words and phrases such as affirmations or mantras. Our faith will act as a conduit to manifest and receive God’s blessings.
Remember that we are made in the image of God; therefore, we possess the power to add intention to our destiny based on His laws. In the beginning, we learn in Genesis that God created the world and all that is contained within it based on saying, “Let there be…” and it was so.
We also must keep in mind that the power of life and death is in the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Within this verse, we also learn that “for those who love it will eat its fruit.” For those of us who recognize that our mouth can be our blessing or our curse, we must intentionally focus on always speaking positive statements and phrases (affirmations/mantras). If we learn to use our mouth for good and learn to embrace the power of our words, then there is nothing that, through God, we cannot accomplish or achieve.
