The night before last God moved in my dream, I knew it was God because I could hear myself say in the Spirit “You have a purpose in Life but you are not doing what God has called you to do.”
I could see the audience before me made up of a very diverse crowd of males and females, old and young, of various cultures, ethnicities, lifestyles, and backgrounds. But all of them had one aspect in common – they were yearning for more than what life was currently providing. They were yearning for a reconnection to their purpose and a fire to reignite their vision.
Recently I heard Steven Furtick speak on the parable of the talents from Matthew 25: 14 and it reminded me of the following:
You are entrusted with talents according to your ability – we are not all created with equal skills or opportunities.
- But God is the great EQUALIZER – just Try Him!
Success occurs when you are willing to step out in faith, and take action. Sometimes that action may be uncomfortable, sometimes that action may appear to be a risk. But most importantly that action is an indication to God that you are willing to multiple the talents that He entrusted you with. Just remember Faith over Fear.
- God has equipped You to do what You are Called to do.
No one said that pursuing your purpose would be easy. Yes, there will be giants and you will journey through a wilderness of trials, and disappointments. But I recently heard a client share with me that her purpose wakes her up every morning at 4 am with a rush of excitement to discover what God has in store for her. This could be YOU!
Don’t give up on your vision, don’t give up on your purpose. I encourage you to read or re-read Matthew 25:14 and breathe new life into your purpose and reignite the FIRE in your vision!
