4 Steps to Help You Meet Your Goals

Have you ever questioned why you aren’t meeting your goals? Do you get discouraged or disappointed when you see others living a happy and fulfilled life, and wonder why it can’t be you?

Recently I posted a blog post on 5 Reasons Why People Fail to Meet Their Goals. As a follow-up, I would like to share with you 4 steps for meeting your goals based on the #1 bestselling book, Visual Prayer: How to Create a Spiritual Vision Board.

  1. ASK: Assemble your spiritual vision board with intention. To receive the desires of your heart, select specific pictures from various magazines that are clear and plain, develop affirmations and mantras that reflect your vision and positively inspire and empower you.

Prayer is how we ask God to co-create with us.  Praying allows us the space and stillness to listen to our hearts desires, bringing us only what is right and good for us.  As we meditate on God’s goodness, we learn His will for our lives, and His will becomes our desires.

2. BELIEVE: Use Inspired Thought (Spiritual Enlightenment), Visualization, Mindfulness, and Gratitude to activate your Spiritual Vision Board.

Your level of faith reflects the extent to which you believe and hope for your desires to come into fruition. Perception shapes your reality, therefore what you believe is true can either make or break your blessings. When it comes to Inspired Thought or as I prefer to say Spiritual Enlightenment, the Holy Spirit will guide you through your journey to connect you to your blessings. Don’t question how or why – just dive in with both feet and thank God.

3. RECEIVE: Take Action (RUN) upon God’s Opportunities.

Be prepared to receive and take enlightened action (RUN) on the opportunities God sends you.  Without action, nothing is accomplished.  Be at peace knowing that all is coming to you and all you have to deal with is right in front of you.

A regular Vision Board may not have a good clear foundation for your vision, so you may get side-tracked and miss opportunities that may come your way or get overwhelmed.

“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”  Psalm 37:

4. REVISE: Pictures, affirmations, and mantras as you receive the desires of your heart.

Upon receiving your blessings, consider what new opportunities God has for you. Strategically revise your spiritual vision board based on those new and exciting opportunities.

On Friday, December 23rd, you can look forward to registering for the online Visual Prayer: A VIP Experience workshop that will begin on January 7, 2017. I look forward to guiding you personally through these 4 simply steps and helping you to not only achieve your goals, but also receive the desires of your heart.
